Have you noticed the latest search engine algorithm updation from Google. After the rumours among the webmasters few weeks before, Google itself finally confirmed about panda 4.2 release. It has confirmed that they have rolled out Panda 4.2 updates on 18th July, 2015. But this refresh affects only 2-3% of search queries. The previous updation was in September 2014 but it only affected a small percentage of search queries when compared with the updation in May 2014, in which almost 8% of search queries were affected.

    Who will be affected?
Google seems to be becoming increasingly confidential when it comes to saying about algorithm updates. Google Panda 4.2 is extremely slow when compared with the usual algorithm updates from google. Because of this slow process many webmasters didnt noticed the rolling out of Panda 4.2. But the slower update will also make it harder to assess who will be affected from this update. According to Google, it may take months to completly roll out this updation or till the time we are able to notice any significant impact on the keyword rankings of the website. Anyway Google officials doesn't give any clue regarding why this rollout is very slow.

The aim of a responsive web site is to create a set of codes, which will be equally compatible with all these devices. If you want your web site to attract more and more people, you must make them responsive.

Search engine optimization, commonly referred to as just SEO, is the process of getting traffic to a website from search engines. Before you begin to design your website, you need to decide what it is you want your site to accomplish and what your internet marketing strategy will be. You should conside both the targeted viewers and the search engines with equal importance. Design considerations while developing a website,

    1. Content

    2. Meta tags
Keyword targeting is important on every page of a site. Among the meta tags Title and Description is most important. Make it unique and relevant on every page.

    3. Heading or Header Tags
    Proper Use Of H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 heading elements
Every page must have an h1 tag. Use only one H1 element. You can use multiple elements for remaining header tags
No need to use all six HTML elements but you should not skip any levels (i.e  if any site is introduced with a heading in h1, and a sub-heading in h3, the hierarchy will be broken. So use it in the correct order)
Place keywords in those headings, within Heading tags.

    4. Images
Images can attract the attention of the viewers while search engine crawlers cannot read these images. So it is important to use alt text wisely with the images. Alt text should contain the best description for the image. Images should be optimized for the web before they are saved and loaded as media for the website.

    5. HTML and Code
Try to minimise the Javascripts, CSS and HTML codes used. Make SEO friendly URLs for the site. That means use proper keywords in the url to describe the page and only use hyphens(-) to separate the keywords in URL.

    6. Site Map
Create HTML site map for website users and XML site map for search engines. Dont forget to submit the sitemap to the search engines.
